1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using bxo (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

bxo is a social platform for discovering, tracking, and sharing your opinions about movies and TV shows. The App allows you to:

• Rate and review movies and TV shows
• Create and share posts about your viewing experiences
• Follow other users and interact with their content
• Create and manage watchlists
• Maintain a personal journal of your viewing history
• Participate in a community through comments and likes
• Earn experience points (XP) and level up based on your activity
• Discover your viewing persona through surveys

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Usernames are case-insensitive and must be unique

3.2 Account Security

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• You may not transfer your account to another person without our permission

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you post on the App ("User Content")
• By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with the App
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content
• You are solely responsible for your User Content

4.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to post User Content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Contains explicit sexual content or nudity
• Promotes violence or illegal activities
• Contains spam, malware, or phishing attempts
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Contains personal information of others without consent

4.3 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms
• We may, but are not obligated to, monitor or review User Content
• Removal of content does not constitute an admission of liability

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without our permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate the XP system or other features
• Sell, rent, or transfer your account
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App

6. Third-Party Content

• The App displays information about movies and TV shows from third-party sources
• We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of third-party content
• Movie and TV show data, images, and metadata are the property of their respective owners

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

• The App and its original content (excluding User Content) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
• Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission

7.2 DMCA Notice

If you believe content on the App infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

• A description of the copyrighted work
• The location of the infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief

9. Termination

• Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of content

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The App will meet your requirements
• Any errors will be corrected
• The App or servers are free of viruses or harmful components

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING)

• Your User Content

17.1 Apple App Store

If you download the App from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App

• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
• You represent that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties

17.2 Google Play Store

If you download the App from Google Play:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Google
• Google has no obligation or liability with respect to the App
• You agree to comply with Google Play's Terms of Service
